“Courage Through Dawn” is the title of an artwork I created, for an online open call; the theme Homeless.
When I started brainstorming ideas, I drew people sitting directly in front of graffiti-covered brick walls. However, before the ideas could even make it to the drawing board I had a change of heart. Instead of illustrating someone sitting, I had him walking down a quiet city street at dawn.
My artwork was one of the 40 that got picked.
