Setting aside the white backgrounds. I’ve opted to use black, for a series of white-outlined, vibrant coloured and intricately patterned mandalas.
Drawing and colouring on black is a novelty. The mindful spiral paired up well with the elegant colour. It was appealing how the dark background didn’t let the light hues recede. Instead, their vibrancy was strengthened.
