Pumpkins, pumpkins, pumpkins everywhere; at the stores, as a costume owned by my neighbour’s 2-year-old daughter and my back garden. I’m not much of a gardener, I just like admiring the pretty flowers, planted by someone else. It’s the month of Halloween, frolic scares and discounted novelty candy. So typically I’m paring October with an orange shade.
I’ve swapped my short-sleeved tops for long-sleeved jumpers. My beige knitwear is out and ready to be worn, every single day. One month into autumn and I‘m partially prepared for the forthcoming weather. But before I do get my woollen coat out, I want to enjoy a few observable things of October. For instance, the mini trick or treaters in their creative costumes, elongated fiery sunsets and melting marshmallows by the fireplace.
Orange is a blend of red and yellow, strength and happiness. It’s a balanced shade filled with joy, warmth, enthusiasm, creativity and motivation. A number of positive elements I want to include in my everyday life.
